Extrtemely RARE Winchester United States Line (USL) Casting Trade Reel Satin Finish Jeweled 60 Yard Circa - 1926. USL or United States Line Co. Started in 1822 and made buggy Leather Whips up until 1926 when they began making and selling fine braided silk fishing lines. This Extremely clean new unfished reel is built amazing with fine quality nickel silver satin finish. Reel spins extremely free, fast and is clean. The clicker functions perfectly and the reel has a clean straight handle and foot. Please note this is a Winchester designed reel with the line under the yardage beneath the foot for identifcation. Under the foot please find a serial number of # 56. I have never seen a Winchester reel with a serial number and this may be a result of a Hardware store inventory number I believe. I have also added the carry bag that this has been stored in for many years as seen in final photo.
