Winchester/ Hendryx Quadruple Trade Reel 80 Yard Circa- 1918/19. Extremely beautiful Nickel plated reel in mint condition and looks like its never been fished. This is probally a carry over from the Purchase of Hendryx Reels by Winchester and looks to be 1919. This is most likely Hendryx stock assembled by Winchester then sold as a trade reel. Take note that almost every Winchester reel made by Winchester the yardage under the foot is underlined. This reel is not which leads me to believe this is a transition reel between companies. The reel is extremely fast and smooth. The rear plate clicker and brake both function perfectly. The removable bearing covers are clean and knurled simply. The Handle and foot are both in great condition and look great and function perfect. Amazing early Winchester/Hendryx American Classic.
