Rarely seen South Bend #50 Anodized Aluminum Level Wind Circa-1963. First Introduced in 1963 with the flat paddle handles this fine reel was the replacement for the very popular #60 tournament reel. This is extremely light weight with the Green Anodized frame and was known as the “Pin point in accuracy reel” . This example is New, never fished and housed with factory line. Everything functions perfect on this brand new reel. The flat paddle handles only lasted a couple years and were replaced with more traditional grips until this reel was discontinued in 1970. I have also included the early direct drive manual. Mint S.B. #50 never seen.
