Shakespeare STANDARD REEL No. 23052 German Silver Jeweled 100 yard Circa-1922. This is a little tougher to find than most, its a very clean reel with fantastic German Silver. The hard rubber inserts are flawless with no cracks or breaks holding the original dark color nicely. The Clicker and brake buttons or wheels sit evenly on both front and back rims and both function with the clicker a little weaker than I normal see. This very fine reel is all catalog correct with removable jeweled bearing covers that are clean and clear. The handle is straight , clean with the trimmed weight and free spinning grip. The foot is also very clean and shows the yardage 100 and model or year of 1922 inside the oval logo. Fantastic 100 year old gem of a reel.
