Pflueger Summit 4th Version German Silver & Nickel Silver Circa-1931-32
Pflueger Summit 4th Version German Silver Circa-1931-32. This is a very nice example of the last of the German Silver Summits made by Pflueger, What followed was Nickel plated versions. This example carries both German silver and nickel silver parts which seems to show the transition. The reel is in perfect condition, spins fast and smooth with a level wind that flies side to side with no wobble. The clicker and built in ABL knob function perfectly. This is also the first model to have the built in Pawl holder in on the front plate. The early patents show clearly on the indide of the face rim along with the early Trademark and no model number in the level wind window on front. This is a collectors classic not seen often.
