Pflueger Rare Unmarked PEERLESS Narrow Spool Round Quadruple No. # 1843 Circa- 1907. This is not my finest looking reel and this reel showing some brass under the nickel plate. It is however sought after by almost all Pflueger collectors and never seen so I am going to release it for sale after thinking long about it. It was not uncommon to see early Peerless reels with no marks (LOGO), Most seen in collections today yield no markings. This Fantastic reel holds the patented Pflueger slotted gear inside the main face plate as all any pflueger collector know clearly shows its a unmarked pflueger Reel. It is exact body, reel size right down to pillar lengths 1906-08 catalog correct No. # 1843 PEERLESS and spins amazing. Its fast and smooth with a strong rear plate mounted clicker. The foot and handle both are clean and again catalog correct. Again this reel is NEVER SEEN . Its a example highly sought after, especially for serious Pflueger guys.
