Pflueger Portage PASTIME Quick Taka-part Quadruple Satin Finish Circa- 1933. This is a very unique reel for Pflueger being the first and only Quick Taka-part reel they ever made. Following in the footsteps 20 years after both Meisselbach and Shakespeare made the first quick Taka-part reels seems kind of strange but I guess Pflueger tried something new to lift the Portage line of reels. Quick Taka-part simple means no tools are necessary to open this reel up for any kind of service. A simple removal of the two finger screws on the face will open this reel wide open. This reel is very tough to find and its all catalog correct, also very clean even though it has been fished. This Pastime reel spins amazing, its fast and smooth with a strong clicker. Both foot and handle again all catalog correct and in great condition.
