Pflueger Light Salt Water Surf Reel Trade Reel for Sterling Mfg. No # 2017 Hard Rubber & Nickel 200 Yard Circa-1906. This is a very tough rarely seen Pflueger from 1906. Its in very fine condition showing just a small amount of brass under the reel seat. These are never seen in this fine condition. The Hard rubber is in fantastic conditon showing no flaws. This reel spins Fast and extremely smooth. Rear plate mounted clicker and brake function Flawlessly. The Sterling Trademark of the English Pound symbol can still be made out after 115 years which is unheard of. The Sterling Trademark was the Property of Horace A. Whittemore registered in 1887.
