Rochester Reel & Mfg. Co. 9 Multiple Quick-A-Part Trade Reel for Hibbard Spencer Bartlett & Co. Chicago, REV-O-NOC German Silver 60 yard. Hibbard Spencer Bartlet & Co. Started in Chicago as a merchadise & Hardware dealer in 1855 and continued through the great Chicago fire and the great depression. Eventually after the great depression it was turned into the True Value Company and the Hardware stores we know today. This is a German silver Very Fine 60 yard, clean, smooth and fast casting reel. Single Button Clicker is not functioning as intended. This is a Quick Apart reel and requires no tools to open and maintain. It shows a Nicely knurled rim head plate. The Adjustable Counter balanced handle is straight , clean and grip spins freely. The foot is clean, not manicured and shows 60 yard size underneath. Note: This Clicker assembly works by moving or rotating the back plate left to right and the clicker makes the clicking noise but I am not sure it is engaging at all. Overall this is a very very nice reel and makes a great presentation and display.
