Vintage Montague Hibbard Spencer Bartlet & Co. " REV-O-NOC " Chicago Satin Finish Fishing Reel. Hibbard Spencer Bartlet & Co. Started in Chicago as a merchadise & Hardware dealer in 1855 and continued through the great Chicago fire and the great depression. Eventually after the great depression it was turned into the True Value Company and the Hardware stores we know today. This is a 60 yard, clean, smooth and fast casting reel. Clicker and brake both functioning perfect. Nicely double knurled rim head plate. Counter balanced handle is straight , clean and grip spins freely. The foot is clean not manicured and shows 60 yard size underneath. Note: This is a very very nice reel , It does show some brassy areas only on the Pillars.
