Vintage Extremely Rare Meisselbach Circa 1906 TRIPART 2 SCREW Reel. This is the tough to find first model TRIPART Reel and carries only the 1904 patent and patents applied. Its extremely clean and in good condition especially for 115 years old, spins smooth, Fast and the clicker is strong. The foot is clean and not manicured and has Meisselbach and Bro. New Jersey stamped underneath. The reels face plate simple Says TRI-PART. The first model counter balanced handle is clean with a free spinning grip. The 2 set screws that hold the face plate on are in great shape and tighten and unscrew easily. This is a takapart style reel. Its easy to oil and remove the spool simple by removing the 2 set screws and pulling the face off. Unlike most Later Tri-part reels the rear plate does not come off. Great first Tri-part example never seen and never seen in this condition.
