Meisselbach TRI-PART 2 SCREW Circa - 1906
Vintage Extremely Rare Meisselbach Circa 1906 TRIPART 2 SCREW Reel. This is a tough first model TRIPART Reel to find and carries only the 1904 patent. Reel Spins smooth, Fast and the clicker is strong. The foot is clean and not manicured and has Meisselbach and Bro. New Jersey stamped underneath. The reels face plate simple Says TRI-PART. The bread basket has neat knurled trim under the counter balanced typical handle with a free spinning grip. The 2 set screws that hold the face plate on are in great shape and tighten and unscrew easily with no rust or corrosian....This is a takapart style reel. Its easy to oil and remove the spool simple by removing the 2 set screws and pulling the face off. Unlike most Later Triparts the rear plate does not come off. This reel has not been cleaned and simply wiped off.
