Vintage Meisselbach Symploreel Superlite Aluminum No. 1000 Circa - 1927. This was a Aluminum side plate reel both front and back with German Silver spool and pillars. The design followed the Blackstone line of Meisselbach reels. This reel was originally made for Heddon and was none as the Waltonian 31AB. After the reel contract was disolved with Heddon Meisselbach kept it as the Superlite and it was only made a few short years. Its considered scarce by most collectors. The reel works great. Its fast and smooth spinning and functions perfectly. Cool reel.
