Meek No 54 Trade Fly Reel for ABERCROMBIE & FITCH by Horton Mfg. Circa - 1938. Abercrombie & Fitch was a giant Trade company for High End, well made and expensive fishing tackle companies for many years. This is a fine example of the Meek No 54 by Horton made just a little nicer then the normal Meek 54. This is a metal reel, with a german silver foot and aluminum spool. It measures 2 7/8” across the face . Its spins great with no wobble. Clicking in both directions perfectly. Fantastic Example. This is a tough reel for anyone to find and you dont see the ABERCROMBIE & FITCH 54 Trade reel very often.
