Vintage Circa 1898-1900 MALLESON "RAWLINGS ST LOUIS" Fishing REEL German silver -Hard Rubber. Extremely nice Hard Rubber and German Silver Trade Reel By Malleson for Rawlings. Rawlings was established in 1887. This Reel is fantastic with the Malleson German silver Reinforced cast foot design. The reel is solid, Clean , fast and clicker is strong and loud. The hard rubber is actually very nice showing very few if any blemishes, The german silver is spectacular. Bearing caps are german silver and the tips are knurled slightly. The counter balanced hand features a knurled weight and a free spinning early grip. Truly a fine example of one of our finest reel designer and maker of classic reels
