KINEYA MODEL 310 FLY REEL with SPARE SPOOL & BAG KYOTO, JAPAN
A nice Kineya model 310 reel, one of their smallest and lightest offerings. 2 1/2" diameter it weighs a scant 3.3 ounces. Additional spool included. Machined from aluminum and built to hold lines from #1-3. Aluminum silver finish with "Model 310" and the Kineya logo found on the backplate. Ventilated winding plate. Brass foot. Appears to be unfished. Comes in a small leather pouch and the extra spool packs into a separate leather zipper pouch. In 2000, Masatoshi Okui started making high-end bench-made fly reels in Kyoto Japan. His reels, although contemporary, are now highly sought after by both fishermen and collectors alike. Masatoshi not only produces reels of his own design, but he also has reproduced some classic reels from days gone by. Spectacular!!
