Heddon Dowagiac P51 Reel Level Wind with Original Box Circa-1948. This reel is a Classic quick Taka-part reel Designed and patented by Walter Willman who was a famous Tournament Caster from St Petersburg Florida and assigned to James Heddon. Very light weight design that with just the single head plate ring unscrewed and removed allows complete access to this reel for service. This is a Mint example I don’t believed ever fished in fantastic condition. Extremely lightweight, very fast spinning , very smooth with a strong rear plate mounted clicker. The box shows limited storage wear with a very nice group of graphics all around and a great clear label. As extra’s I have also included the original box instuctions (manual) and the very rare tissue paper this reel was in at time of purchase.
