Its believed this reel was made using the Pflueger Supreme design patent that had run out in early 1940 and looks almost exactly like the later model Supreme. This reel is nothing like the Supreme inside mechanically however. Featuring surplus Ball Bearings left over after WWII in 1945 this fantastic reel spins much smoother and faster then the Supreme ever could. This reel is rare and never seen in this spectacular condition. It spins amazing with a very fast level wind gliding easily side to side and a very strong clicker. The extremely rare never seen box and original manual are both in fantastic condition with the box label clear.
