E.A. PFLUEGER COMPANY (First) "WORTH" Fine German Silver Jeweled Serial No. 198 Circa-1910. This is from one of the sons of Enterprise Founder E.F. Pflueger after he left the family business and started his own Company called E.A. Pflueger Company. The First ever Worth name only would be established as a Enterprise product a few years later. This reel is the finest German Silver you will see. The Jewels were different then any other Pflueger Enterprise style and never used again on any future Worth Models or Enterprise reels. The Handle is unique to this reel as well with the counter balanced weight matching the bearing covers exactly as a fine touch. The clicker is on the rear plate and functions perfect and again differs from future Enterprise Pflueger worth reels where its on the face plate with the brake button. The front plate brake button functions perfectly as well. The knurling surrounding the front plate differs as well with only one row of rope knurling instead of 2 as seen later on Enterprise Plueger Worth. The spool flanges differed also, with distint tilt in shoulders as seen in photo’s. You can find the incredible and early serial number of #198 located neatly between the foot pillars holding up a full length foot not manicured showing the yardage of 60. .
