Dennis Kelly 4 arm "Kelly Patent" Brass Indiana Style Reel Patent #1898451 Circa-1933. Beautiful uncleaned example of a 4-arm Indiana style reel made of brass, with cylindrical handle grasps and small straps securing the arms to the central disk. Patented by Dennis Kelly of Michigan in 1933 (pat. No. #1898451), these came in several configurations, including some with wires connecting the points on the distal ends of the arms as this example shows. Everything functions great on this spectacular example. This is another tough one for the Indiana Reel collectors or anyone and rarely seen. I believe this 4 arm is actually from 1930 but could not find the proof of this.
