Connecticut Reel Co. “TWIN LAKES” Glenville Conn. Level Wind with Original box Circa-1949. This rare reel comes from a very small Connecticut reel maker from the Late 1940s after WWII. As far as I can tell they made 3 models and only for a couple years. This is a very clean never fished reel that spins fast, Very smooth and the level wind glides nicely. The clicker works strong and loud. The handle is clean and the counter balanced bright red grips spin freely. The foot is clean and not manicured. The box shows some storage wear but works perfect and has a pretty clear label. Rare short lived reel and box from a Small Connecticut Maker post WWII.
