Bronson "VALIANT" Trade reel No. #1340 for Edward K. Tryon Co. Philadelphia Level Wind Circa-1924. This reel is a very tough reel to find in any condition. This reel has been fished but still remains a good example of a fine reel. This is actually Bronsons “Peerless “ No. #700 with the Trade mark for one of the biggest Tackle house ever created. Kingfisher was Perhaps the biggest Trademark of Edward K. Tryon. The reel is a Quadruple Multiplying, made up with a Jet Black Bakelite headcap with all other metal parts being satin finish. It spins fast with a good working side to side level wind and a strong clicker. This is a quick takapart style reel and can readily be taken apart without tools. The S Handle is in good shape and gives this fine reel some elegence. Overall a great example of a reel never seen except in catalogs.
