Bronson "GAME GETTER" Model V7325 Trade reel for Western Auto Supply Kansas City Mo. Level Wind with Original Box Circa-1948
Bronson "GAME GETTER" Trade reel for Western Auto Supply Level Wind with Original Box Circa-1948. Western Auto Supply Co. originally started as a mail order business for replacement auto parts in Kansas City Mo. The first retail store was established in 1921, and grew quickly as automobiles became increasingly more common. At one point, there were over 1,200 company-owned stores nationwide, usually located in metropolitan areas, and more than 4,000 associate stores (private, franchised, "dealer" locations), usually located in small towns. Reel is new in never fished condition. Level wind glides fast, very smooth and Clicker is strong and loud. Rear plate bearing cover works as the ABL and functions perfectly by turning to pressure brake engagement. The box shows some storage and shelf wear but puts the new reel away very nicely.
