The Rare Bronson No.3800 “Blue Heron” was one of the original group of Gold Seal reels introduced by Bronson in 1931. The chromium plated nickel silver is in good condition showing just a little fishing wear. The black Bakelite side plate spacers are in perfect condition. This model came with both a rare front spool brake on the face plate that functions perfectly and a rear plate clicker that also works as intended. This first version sold for only 3 years before being replaced with a engraved Blue Heron seen more often today.
