$285.00

Bronson ALTOONA No. #4200 with Original Box Circa-1933. This is the first Version Altoona from 1933 and the only year this reel was made with a nickel Silver back plate, After 1933 this reel was made with a bakelite back plate and continued that way until 1941. The bakelite front plate is flawless and all the other nickel silver is in fine shape. This level wind reel spins fast and extremely smooth and the level wind goes easily side to side on command. The back plate mounted clicker is strong and loud. The box is in good condition showing limited storage wear with a really good clear label. All Reel parts and Box are 1933 catalog correct and the only year this true combination was together. Really nice clean example of a early Bronson Level Wind and Box

.

Note: Any White on the bake-lite Front plate is glare and reflextion. The bake-lite is in Mint condition.
