Bronson All-Star Model 4700 Engraved Level Wind Jeweled Circa-1935
Bronson All-Star Model 4700 Engraved Level Wind Jeweled Circa-1935. Okay, so interesting reel here. This reel does not look anything like the 1935 version seen in the Bronson catalog. It appears to look like the All-American model 4800 with a few slightly different features. It has the ribbed bake-lite spacer and engraving identical to the All-American but different jeweled bearing covers and clicker assembly plus the black plate is black with no engraving. Im not sure but this could be the 1936-37 version of the All-Star however no catalogs have ever been found from those 2 years. Also this could simply be a Lunch box reel assembled by a employee from home with parts. Just interesting. This reel clearly marked All-Star functions perfectly with no issues. It looks cool and is fast and smooth spinning. Overall very cool collector reel for the Bronson collector for sure.
