B.F. Meek & Sons No. 3 Kentucky Style 12 O’clock Handle Jeweled circa- 1892. This is a very nice example of a super clean Meek & Sons workhorse of a Reel. Its extremely clean, super fast and smooth as you would expect from a Meek Classic. The Knurled Headplate rim is brillant with incredible details. The 12 O’Clock Handle position was prefered by most early fisherman and it does not come available often. The bearing covers are fixed Jeweled with removable brilliant knurled covers. Both clicker and brake function perfectly and slide easily when asked . The foot is clean and unmanicured with sculptured bottom pillars. Its a true early classic with the low serial number of #2445. Extremely Nice Example. This early Model of a classic is extremely hard to Find.
