Vintage Rare Circa 1853-58 Brass MEEK & MILAM No.3 Casting Reel with a 12 O'Clock Handle. That dates this reel at the start of the Lincoln Presidency and the beginning of the Civil War. This Reel Functions perfectly with both strong clicker and Brake and is smooth spinning. The brass finish is in very good condition especially considering its age. All parts are original. The foot is clean and slightly manicured on the front tip. The 12 O’clock position handle is clean free of defects and the grip spins freely. The knurling on the rim trim is one of a kind and the bread basket knurling below the amazing handle matches perfect.
