This is a new never fished Fantastic rarely seen semi custom hand made fly reel made only for 3 short years mostly from the technology and materials discovered and used in the war efforts. Its a quick easy takapart fly reel needing a simple turn of the front cover from lock to lift to open. 4 inch diameter with a rim control drag adjuster that functions incredible. Spins amazing in both direction with no wobble and incredible clicking action like I have never seen. Stamped Arnold Products, Boston 15, Mass - USA marked reel and also stamped "Pat Appl'd For". The back plate has a custom removable non breakable glass center piece made with the previous owners name in cursive. This cool removable feature was very common to find on these reels if the reel was ordered one day prior to being picked up or delivered. The original marked Leather handmade case is made from tooled leather and in very very fine condition. This truly is a spectacular combination.
